The condition of my heart determines if Jesus’ return will be as a thief or as lightning flashing!
Introduction to Chapter 43:
THERE ARE TWO COMPLETELY OPPOSING TRUTHS CONCERNING THE PERSONAL RETURN OF THE LORD JESUS. In one version His return is as a thief in the night and the other says He will come with great announcement. In the latter it is described like lightning flashing from the east to the west and even the trumpet of the Lord. In fact, Jesus taught that His return would be so clearly realized that no one will be deceived if they wait for this event.
