Introduction to Chapter 19:
THE KINGDOM OF BABYLON WAS CONCEIVED UNDER THE LUCIFERIAN INFLUENCE OF SEMIRAMIS, NIMROD AND TAMMUZ. The spirit of Mystery Babylon has been at work in the world from that time until now. Mystery Babylon is the mother of all religions except Judaism and Christianity. However, much of her corrupt influence has been seen in both Judaism and the Church throughout history. Ironically, in a world where governments are claiming to be secular, they are, in fact, radically religious. Their faith is not in the Creator, Jehovah, the God and Father of the Lord Jesus Christ; it is in Lucifer, the one who claims to bring enlightenment as the first free thinker.

This is the time to realize your citizenship in His Kingdom. Discover what it means to be part of the family of God. Live by the laws of the Kingdom which are based on love and faith. The laws of this land will never stop the flood of iniquity; in fact, they will only serve to promote it. The more we look to the government for solutions the more they will establish lawlessness (iniquity). Politicians cannot and will not change this. The economy improving will not solve the problem. People who know who they are in Jesus and believers who spread the love of God provide the only opportunity to make a real difference.
Jesus made it clear that His Kingdom was not of this world. He didn’t try to change Rome and He didn’t attack the injustices in the political system. He taught men about the Kingdom of God. He exalted every word ever spoken by God to the level of love. He revealed the true intentions of God the Father for all mankind. He understood there was no changing of nations, only changing of men as they experienced God in their own heart. We must live as citizens of the Kingdom. Our hope must be an eternal hope. We must know and walk in the way of peace.
We are in this world but not of this world so it is not ours to fight for. Only the souls of men and women for whom Jesus died can be the focus of our battle and the place of our effort. It does not matter if we have a Republican government, a Democratic government or a Libertarian government. None of that means anything in eternity, nor will it have any lasting effect on the affairs of this world. Who we elect to office may buy a little time, but that is only valuable if we use the time we’ve bought to spread the message and example of the gospel of the Kingdom of God to the entire world!
